Your regular monthly giving helps us plan ahead for the church. Registering for the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) enables you to set up a Direct Debit and for Gift Aid to be automatically claimed by the church. This means your regular giving can be boosted by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate if you are a current UK taxpayer!

GIVING

Everything we do at Vine Church involves people regularly giving their time, skills and money. Giving financially is something we do as part of our worship, commitment to God’s people and support of the church.

WHY DO WE GIVE?

Being generous with our money is part of our lives as disciples of Jesus. When we give money, we are giving out of what God has already given to us – it is part of saying thank you, and putting him at the top of our priorities. Giving regularly to charities, those we know in need, as well as to the church are all ways of expressing our thankfulness.

Giving money to our church community supports everything we do; it is the generosity of the church family that enables us to pursue our vision.

Regular monthly giving is particularly gratefully received as this enables us to plan ahead.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?

The answer to this question is entirely dependent upon your own personal circumstances and what you decide in your mind and heart. We would simply encourage you to pray and ask God if He’d like you to give to the church financially, and how much.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.. – 2 Corinthians 9:7

HOW DO I GIVE TO THE CHURCH?

There are a number of ways you may give through this page, including establishing regular giving or through one-off donations. These methods include via Credit/Debit Card, Direct Debit or Standing Order.
